About The Role

  • Lead end-to-end retail store fit-out, refurbishment, and renovation projects from planning through handover.
  • Develop design concepts, layouts, and space planning solutions for retail stores.
  • Prepare and review detailed drawings, 3D renderings, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with landlords, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to obtain required approvals and permits.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and quality standards to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor site progress and conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Retail Operations, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, and Facilities teams.
  • Review contractor quotations, negotiate project costs, and support procurement activities.
  • Ensure timely project reporting and communication to management and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in project execution.
  • Maintain accurate project records, budgets, and post-project evaluations.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years & above of relevant experience in retail project management, retail fit-out, renovation, or construction projects.
  • Experience working with retail chains, shopping mall developments, or commercial fit-out projects is highly preferred.
  • Experience in construction or interior fit-out companies will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, construction processes, and procurement procedures.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within tight timelines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max (or equivalent visualization software), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project will be an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel for project site visits when required.
