About The Role
- The Global IT Applications & TSA Exit Lead is responsible for establishing and leading the global IT
- application ownership model for Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and related edge
- applications during TSA operations and post-TSA transition.
- This role owns the global application portfolio, technology strategy, TSA exit governance, vendor
- management, budget ownership, and business alignment across critical applications supporting plant
- continuity, engineering execution, product lifecycle processes, logistics, and supply chain
- operations. The position will lead the IT team across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and
- platform/application domains, working closely with BRMs, Local IT Leaders, infrastructure teams
- seconded to support TSA operations, cybersecurity, architecture, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- This is a key leadership role to ensure operational continuity during TSA while building the future
- Bosch operating model.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Conceptualization
- •    Define and own the global IT application strategy for Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply
- Chain Technology.
- •    Establish the future-state application ownership model after TSA exit.
- •    Align application roadmaps with Bosch Home Comfort business priorities, plant needs,
- engineering requirements, and supply chain transformation.
- •    Own application portfolio governance, including lifecycle, roadmap, risk, cost, and service
- ownership.
- •    Drive technical debt reduction, standardization, and modernization opportunities.
- •    Partner with BRMs, Local IT Leaders, business process owners, infrastructure teams, and vendors
- to prioritize demand and transformation initiatives.
- •    Own budget planning, vendor governance, and application portfolio cost transparency.
Design & Planning
- •    Lead TSA exit planning for the Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain application
- portfolio.
- •    Define transition approach, cutover readiness, hypercare, service stabilization, and post-TSA
- operating model.
- •    Ensure application inventory, ownership, integrations, infrastructure dependencies, access
- models, and support models are documented.
- •    Coordinate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, and service teams to ensure full
- transition readiness.
- •    Review and approve critical application roadmap, transition, and risk mitigation plans.
- •    Ensure compliance with Bosch governance, cybersecurity, data protection, and operational
- standards.
Build, Deploy & Transition
- •    Lead application transition execution across global, regional, and local teams.
- •    Coordinate transition activities with application owners, BRMs, Local IT Leaders,
- infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- •    Ensure business readiness, testing, cutover planning, communication, and hypercare are properly
- executed.
- •    Manage risks related to legacy applications, unsupported platforms, local dependencies, vendor
- support, and integration gaps.
- •    Build sustainable post-TSA support models, escalation paths, and service governance.
Run & Operate
- •    Ensure stability of critical Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain applications during
- TSA.
- •    Own service governance, incident escalation, vendor performance, and operational continuity.
- •    Coordinate with seconded infrastructure teams for infrastructure-dependent application issues.
- •    Ensure clear operational ownership across global, regional, and local IT teams.
- •    Drive root-cause resolution and service stabilization for critical business applications.
Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- •    Drive application standardization, modernization, and simplification.
- •    Identify AI, automation, integration, and reporting improvement opportunities.
- •    Reduce technical debt and improve long-term supportability.
- •    Support migration from TSA-dependent solutions to strategic Bosch platforms.
- •    Build application ownership maturity across the global organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- •    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related
- discipline.
- •    MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred.
- •    IT experience, including global application leadership or transformation
- roles.
- •    Experience leading application portfolios in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or
- industrial environments.
- •    Proven experience in TSA, carve-out, merger, divestiture, or large-scale IT transition
- programs.
- •    Experience managing global teams, vendors, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- •    Manufacturing or industrial business experience strongly preferred.
