As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in driving customer satisfaction, supporting revenue growth, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment through proactive communication, problem resolution, and effective account management. You will partner closely with customers and internal teams to deliver outstanding service, strengthen business relationships, and contribute to the continued growth and success of our Tulsa Emerson location.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will
- Serve as a trusted partner to distributors, impact partners, and internal stakeholders by delivering exceptional customer support and sales coordination
- Leverage MRP systems to analyze inventory levels of parts and finished goods, enabling informed commitments and accurate communication with customers and sales teams
- Own the customer complaint resolution process from initiation through closure, ensuring timely, effective resolution and a positive customer experience
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding open issues, orders, and return material authorizations (RMAs), providing timely updates and driving successful outcomes
- Support achievement of customer service objectives through prompt response times, accurate order processing, and detailed documentation of customer interactions
- Apply product knowledge and provide first-level technical support for established products, assisting customers with routine inquiries and product-related questions
- Act as the primary liaison between customers, sales, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operations to ensure customer requirements are understood and executed effectively.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities related to quality, engineering, and production changes to ensure customer specifications and expectations are met
- Monitor inventory availability and product status to support customer needs, order fulfillment, and business objectives
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma required
- 2-4 years of customer servicer related experience
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office software
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with channel partners and employee
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Associates degree
- Technical qualification in a mechanical field
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Process Oil/Gas industry or previous valve experience
