About The Role

As a Production Planner II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in supporting and improving the supply chain planning and execution process within the business. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining valid master schedules for material and capacity by effectively balancing supply and demand to meet customer requirements.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of production planning activities, ensuring timely material availability and production schedules that support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain master production schedules to align with customer demand and business objectives.
  • Analyze demand and supply balance, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to maintain schedule stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure material availability and production readiness.
  • Monitor manufacturing performance against schedules and adjust plans as needed to optimize production flow.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years’ experience in supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain planning processes including master scheduling, material planning, and capacity management.
  • Proficiency with material control systems such as MRP and ERP platforms, preferably SAP.
  • Experience analyzing production schedules and resolving supply-demand imbalances to maintain schedule adherence.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive supply chain excellence.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in Materials Management, Operations, SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP, Procurement, Logistics, or Manufacturing.
  • APICS or CPIM certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading change and influencing across organizational levels.
