Project Manager - Commercial Drywall & Metal Framing

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial drywall and metal framing projects from contract award through final closeout.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing projects involving commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and interior finish systems . This role will oversee scheduling, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, project documentation, and client communication while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and interior finish projects from award through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to confirm scope and identify potential issues.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
- Monitor project budgets, labor productivity, material procurement, subcontractor performance, and overall financial performance.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule progress.
- Identify project risks and implement solutions to minimize cost, schedule, and quality impacts.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients, stakeholders, and company leadership.
- Oversee punch-list completion, warranty items, final documentation, turnover, and closeout.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, suppliers, and internal teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior construction.
- Commercial drywall and metal framing project management experience is required.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, procurement, and cost control.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project , or similar platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
