**Company Profile:**

Our client is a leading Australian photography and visual production company providing professional image editing and property presentation services.

As the company continues to expand its operations, they are looking for a Photo Editor to become part of their pioneer team in the Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for high-volume photo editing and retouching using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, AI-assisted production, file management, quality control, and professional floorplan and graphic production using Adobe Illustrator.

**Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:**

As a **Photo Editor** you will produce polished, brand-consistent image files, manage a high-volume workflow, support AI-assisted production, and contribute to floorplan and graphic production where required. You will also be organised, dependable, responsive to feedback and comfortable working to daily deadlines.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

**Photography Editing & Retouching**

• Edit and retouch high-volume photography in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop to the studio standard
• Perform exposure and colour correction, white balance, contrast and tonal adjustments, sharpening and noise reduction
• Correct verticals, perspective and lens distortion while maintaining a natural, realistic presentation
• Complete precise retouching including object removal, clean-up, reflections, minor distractions and other requested corrections
• Use masks, layers, selections and non-destructive workflows efficiently; where required, complete bracket blending, window/detail balancing and sky replacement while keeping results believable

**AI-Assisted Editing & Workflow**

• Use Adobe Firefly and other approved AI platforms to support efficient, high-quality production
• Apply AI tools with sound judgement - knowing when AI improves the result and when manual editing is required
• Review all AI-assisted output for artefacts, inconsistencies, unrealistic details or brand-quality issues before delivery
• Stay current with editing, automation and AI capabilities that can improve speed and consistency

**File Handling & Production Management**

• Maintain excellent file-handling discipline across downloads, working files, exports, uploads and archives
• Follow naming conventions, folder structures, export specifications, version control and delivery procedures exactly
• Handle large image sets efficiently and ensure no files are missed, duplicated, incorrectly named or delivered in the wrong format
• Protect client material and maintain strict confidentiality of images, addresses, project information and company files
• Identify missing, corrupt or unusual files early and communicate issues promptly

**Illustrator & Floorplan Production**

• Use Adobe Illustrator confidently for production graphics and studio templates
• Produce clean, accurate, presentation-ready floorplans from supplied source material, following Impress Photography formatting and branding standards
• Check labels, room names, linework, alignment, spelling and overall floorplan presentation before delivery; make revisions quickly when requested

**Quality Assurance & Team Communication**

• Complete a final quality-control check before every job is submitted
• Follow written instructions, job notes, examples and feedback precisely
• Communicate clearly in English when a brief is unclear or a production issue is identified
• Be receptive to feedback, retain corrections and apply learnings consistently to future work
• Manage priorities calmly when multiple jobs are due and escalate any risk to deadlines early
• Participate in strategy and consulting meetings on technical matters – internal and external – for company and client interests

## Requirements
**Must-have Skills / Qualification:**

• 2–3+ years of professional photo editing experience in a commercial or production environment
• Strong practical experience with Adobe Photoshop, including colour correction, exposure adjustments, retouching, masking, layers, selections, object removal and image clean-up
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom for processing and editing large volumes of images
• Experience with Adobe Firefly or other AI-assisted photo editing tools is highly desirable, with the ability to review and refine AI-generated results to ensure they meet professional standards
• Strong visual judgement, with a good eye for colour, exposure, composition, consistency, realism and overall image presentation
• Ability to work on high-volume image production, with an expected workload of approximately 60–80 images/jobs per day when completed manually, potentially increasing to around 100+ when using AI-assisted workflows
• Strong file management and production discipline, including organising, naming, processing, uploading and managing large volumes of image files accurately
• Ability to follow detailed editing instructions, job briefs, mark-ups and established production standards
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining speed, accuracy and consistency
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage daily workloads and meet production deadlines
• Reliable computer equipment and stable internet connection suitable for handling large image files and remote production work
• Willingness to work according to Australian business/production requirements and quality standards
• Must be comfortable working as part of a pioneer production team in the Philippines and contributing to the development of the local operation
• Must have their own working equipment for work

**Nice-to-have / Advantageous Skills:**

• Experience editing Australian-market photography, particularly understanding Australian property presentation standards
• Experience editing real-estate/property photography — preferred but not required
• Experience with drone and aerial photography, including drone property imagery
• Experience with portrait photography
• Experience working with helicopter/aerial photography
• Experience creating or editing floorplans using Adobe Illustrator
