About The Role
Role Purpose
The Analyst, Intellectual Property, is part of the larger IP Global Protection team. The Global IP Protection team is a group of legal professionals dedicated to protecting NBCUniversal’s creative content and brands from commercial-scale copyright infringement and counterfeiting. This position will serve as a key analyst within NBCU’s global enforcement program, providing research, reporting, and operational support across content, brands, and business units. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who brings strong analytical and organizational skills to their work, along with an attentive and communicative approach. The role will report directly to the Sr. Counsel, Intellectual Property.

- Research and analyze agreements for enforcement rights information and trademark administration
- Support NBCUniversal’s trademark enforcement and anti-counterfeiting programs by conducting trademark registration searches and identifying enforceable marks as needed
- Support IP operations by maintaining and updating internal database of distribution, copyright, title, and property ownership rights information
- Maintain and update external title management databases in support of trade and industry programs
- Collaborate with larger legal and operations teams to enhance global IP protection program by sharing research-based findings
- Prepare reports and assist with team projects and new initiatives as needed
Here you'll need
- 3+ years in a professional office environment, preferably within a legal setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

- Ability to effectively prioritize high-volume workload
- Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

This position has been designated as  hybrid , generally contributing from the Universal City, CA office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000
