About The Role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Representitive - BS&C based in Canada.
This role is focused on driving revenue growth within the Building Services & Construction sector, with a strong emphasis on the SME market. You will develop new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers and identifying solutions tailored to their needs. The position combines in-person and remote sales activities, market development, proposal preparation, and customer engagement. You will play a key role in achieving revenue targets and expanding market share across your assigned territory. Success will require strong commercial judgment, customer relationship skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. The role offers an opportunity to build a broad customer network while contributing directly to business growth. It also provides a clear path for professional development across sales expertise, leadership, and different territories.
Accountabilities
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans aligned with business development objectives, product revenue targets, market sectors, and territory goals.
- Identify and assess new business opportunities, recommending appropriate solutions to increase product sales and market share.
- Support national account strategies while developing and maintaining a strong customer base within the assigned territory.
- Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and contribute to the overall sales budget.
- Expand and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers through regular face-to-face meetings, telephone outreach, and other sales activities.
- Prepare and deliver customer proposals containing relevant technical and commercial information based on client requirements and applicable terms and conditions.
- Monitor competitor activity, upcoming projects, and market trends, providing market analysis and insights to support sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and sales activity information within the CRM system in accordance with established procedures.
- Develop strong knowledge of internal administrative processes, product offerings, rental procedures, and operational practices to effectively support customer needs.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen long-term customer partnerships and contribute to sustainable business growth.
Requirements
Bring at least 5 years of direct business-to-business sales experience, supported by strong business acumen and proven customer relationship management skills.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the assigned territory and the Building Services & Construction industry.
Have strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
Be proficient in using CRM platforms, with experience using systems such as Salesforce considered valuable.
Be an experienced individual contributor who can work independently with limited direction, manage competing responsibilities, and resolve complex problems using established methodologies and professional expertise.
Demonstrate a results-oriented, resilient, persistent, and proactive approach to achieving sales objectives.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
