POSITION

• 25-30 hrs/week
• Children's Academy is a charming international, bilingual Montessori Kindergruppe in the heart of Vienna's embassy district.
• Our bright and spacious setting offers children aged 2 to 6 plenty of room to learn, play, explore and grow in a warm, respectful and multicultural environment.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

• Is a native English speaker or speaks English at native-speaker level
• Has recognised pedagogical / early childhood education training
• Has a strong Montessori background and Montessori training
• Ideally holds a Montessori diploma or recognised Montessori qualification
• Has experience working with children aged 2 to 6 years
• Enjoys working in an international and bilingual environment
• Is reliable, caring, creative and committed to child-centred education

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Caring for and supporting children aged 2 to 6 years
• Speaking and working with the children consistently in English
• Planning and carrying out age-appropriate educational activities
• Integrating Montessori principles into everyday life in the Kindergruppe
• Observing and documenting children's development
• Working closely with the German-speaking team
• Communicating warmly and professionally with children, parents and colleagues

IMPORTANT: A genuine Montessori background and relevant pedagogical training are important requirements for this position.
