Working Hours: 22.2 hours per week over 3 days

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: Starting Salary is £33,673 (Level one) rising to £36,581 (Level four) per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Location: The Willows Day Centre, Ambergate Road, Beechdale, Nottingham, NG8 3GD

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Someone with experience or understanding of adult social care and working with people who have a range of care and support needs.
  • A well-organised and motivated person who can manage their workload and communicate clearly.
  • Someone who uses initiative, works well with others and can respond calmly and creatively to challenges.

About the Role

  • You will work closely with Shared Lives carers, citizens, families and social work colleagues to review placements, update support plans, respond to issues, and help ensure people receive safe, personalised support.
  • Be part of a supportive service where relationships, good matching and person-centred practice are at the heart of what we do.
  • Shared Lives provides family-based care for citizens with a range of needs. The team assesses and supports carers, oversees placements, and works with colleagues across adult social care to help people achieve positive outcomes.
  • This fixed-term post will provide additional capacity while the service continues to grow and develop.

About You

The ideal candidate will have

  • Experience working with adults in a social care/health/voluntary sector setting.
  • Experience developing and reviewing personalised care or support plans.
  • Ability to keep clear, accurate records and evidence decisions appropriately.
  • Confidence managing a caseload, prioritising tasks and working independently.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with carers, colleagues and partner agencies.
  • This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
  • A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
