Job Description
Updates and maintains provider credentials and constructs in advanced scheduling software. Fosters and maintains good working relationships and communications with providers. Accurately processes payroll transactions for PRN and other non-standard hours/shifts worked. Responds quickly to requests from providers and hospital medicine leadership. Other duties as assigned. Generates schedules for all applicable facilities on time using advanced scheduling software for over 100 providers. Schedules providers to Full Time Equivalent (FTE) or contracted commitment of shifts based on open availability. Regularly updates schedules to accommodate changes or staffing model adjustments. Proactively assesses monthly and ongoing coverage needs. Distributes schedules in advance of the start of a given block. Confirms schedules and shifts with providers. Utilizes algorithms and rules within the scheduling software and established scheduling norms. Plays an integral role in provider onboarding by loading schedule rules and norms based on contractual or FTE constructs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office products, spreadsheets, scheduling software [Required]
Education
- Associate [Required]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Work Experience
- 2+ of complex medical staffing or patient scheduling [Required]

Pay Range
$17.80 - $28.48
