Job Description
Plans, oversees, and performs grounds maintenance operations, including mowing, trimming, horticultural work, tree work, leaf removal, and mulching. Monitors and manages the grounds budget for labor hours and material purchases. Coordinates with vendors and staff to schedule and perform necessary groundskeeping tasks. Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all grounds maintenance activities. Trains and supervises grounds maintenance staff, ensuring they follow safety protocols and best practices. Maintains records of maintenance activities, expenses, and equipment usage. Manages the procurement and inventory of supplies and equipment needed for grounds maintenance. Responds to and resolves any issues or complaints related to grounds maintenance. Collaborates with other departments to support special events and projects requiring grounds services. Other duties as assigned. Develops and implements maintenance schedules to ensure the timely completion of tasks. Inspects grounds regularly to identify areas needing attention and takes corrective action. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to assist in maintaining man-hours and supply costs [Required]
- Ability to manage the day activities in supervising staff including training, hiring, terminations, orienting and evaluating performance [Required]
- Knowledge about best environmental practices [Required]
- Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
Education:
- Bachelor's [Preferred]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:
- in a related field
Work Experience:
- 2+ leadership experience [Required]
- 3+ leadership/management experience [Preferred]
- 5+ in a related field [Required]
- 7+ in a related field [Preferred]

Pay Range
$41,516.80 - $77,188.80
