Facility Technician

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

• Oversee daily operation, monitoring, and preventive/corrective maintenance of all facility systems (HVAC, electrical, compressed air, water treatment, fire protection, etc.) to ensure high availability and minimal unplanned downtime.

Ensure full compliance with local safety, environmental, fire protection, and construction regulations, take timely corrective actions for all non-conformities.

Provide immediate technical support for facility alarms, breakdowns, and emergencies; lead root-cause analysis with technicians and contractors, and establish effective contingency plans for critical systems.

Plan, coordinate, and supervise facility improvement projects, system retrofits, and infrastructure preparation for new equipment, covering utility capacity verification, installation, testing, and commissioning within budget and schedule.

Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and maintenance effectiveness while managing spare parts inventory, maintenance resources, and vendor contracts to optimize operating costs.

Perform other duties and projects assigned by the company.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

• Solid experience in building and facility management, including hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, compressed air, fire protection, and water treatment systems;

• Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
• Willing to respond to off-work emergency calls regarding urgent facility issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with CMMS or AutoCAD is a plus.
• Fluent in both Oral and Written English
