Constraint & Delivery Manager

PURPOSE

Own plant-level supply constraint identification and delivery performance. First-line resolver of supply disruptions — acting before the production scheduler knows there is a problem. No line stops, no surprises, no excuses.

REPORTS TO

Regional Procurement Lead — solid line

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and escalate supply constraints daily; own plant-level constraint register
  • Manage supplier delivery performance at plant level; drive root cause analysis on failures
  • Mitigate line-down risk: coordinate emergency supply actions before impact on production
  • Expedite critical materials; escalate commercial leverage requirements to RCM after exhausting first-line options
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with production planning; maintain aligned constraint and delivery horizon
  • Execute root cause analysis on delivery failures; track corrective actions through to closure
  • Support inventory optimisation: flag excess and shortfall positions to planning team
  • Participate in Category Team as extended member; surface recurring supplier delivery issues to GCM/RCM
