African Critical Minerals / Beneficiation Sector Expert (Pan-Africa)

BwB is looking for an African Critical Minerals / Beneficiation Sector Expert to support a potential assignment focused on critical minerals, beneficiation, and industrial development in Africa. 

Required: 

• Strong knowledge of African markets , with experience of engaging with governments, mining companies, investors, development finance institutions, and other relevant stakeholders. 
• Direct experience in one or more of the following areas in Africa: critical minerals, mining-linked industrialisation, beneficiation, regional value chains, and industrial investment. 

Desirable: 

• Fund / investment experience. 
• Knowledge of responsible-mining standards and ESG. 
• Regulatory / policy experience. 
• Familiarity with regional institutions and stakeholders. 
• Specific experience across mineral value chains.
