Join Kyndryl as an Application Consultant and become a catalyst for innovation and transformation . In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving change and enabling our customers to harness the power of technology to achie ve their ambitions . Working across a diverse range of industries—from healthcare to finance—you will serve as a trusted advisor, forging strong customer relationships to gain deep insights into business objectives and tailoring cutting-edge solutions to align technology with business outcomes . As the visionary architect behind their digital transformation journey, you will guide customers through application modernization, ensuring seamless integration and optimized performance .

What you will do

• Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering : Conduct thorough needs assessments, gather requirements from stakeholders, and translate them into functional and nonfunctional specifications using Business Analysis (BA) methodologies, use cases, and process flows .
• Application Modernization & Customization : Drive application modernization initiatives, guiding customers through every step to future-proof systems, as well as assisting in selecting and customizing packaged solutions .
• Architecture & Technical Collaboration : Work closely with application architects and development staff to plan design and implementation work, adhering strictly to time, cost, and quality targets .
• Advisory & Compatibility Consulting : Consult with clients on system compatibility challenges (hardware, OS, data conversion, training) and assist them in choosing between multiple applications and packaged solutions to drive maximum value .

Required skills and experience

• Core Application Experience : 5+ years of experience in application development, deployment, migration, and modernization .
• Architecture & Data : 5+ years of experience in application architecture, middleware, and data .
• Technology Breadth : Proficiency across a variety of technologies, including Business Intelligence (BI), database principles, programming fundamentals, SQL, hardware/software, operating systems, and networking .
• Agile & Cloud Acumen : Strong technical acumen and deep working knowledge of Agile Methods, Service Architecture, and enterprise Cloud Integration .
• Stakeholder Management : Strong ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams .

Preferred skills and experience

• SaaS Implementation : Hands-on SaaS application implementation experience (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, NetSuite, Infor, Unit 4, PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, Lawson, etc.) .
• Modernization Tools : Experience with application modernization tools (e.g., CAST) .
• DevSecOps Integration : Experience in implementing and utilizing DevSecOps processes .
• Risk Mitigation : Experience assisting stakeholders in quantifying risks and developing mitigation and remediation strategies .
