As a Quantitative Analytics Vice President at JPMorganChase within Card Marketing Analytics, you will lead acquisition-focused analytics for United States consumer and small business credit cards. You will connect customer behavior, offer strategy, and channel performance to drive portfolio growth and improve customer outcomes. You will influence senior stakeholders with crisp storytelling, develop reusable data products, and raise the bar for how analytics powers day-to-day decisions.
Job responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of data scientists and analysts by coaching, setting clear expectations, and supporting career growth
- Partner with credit card product and marketing teams to shape acquisition strategy, including offer design and targeting approaches
- Build, validate, and deploy predictive models that improve acquisition efficiency and customer experience
- Deliver end-to-end analyses and scalable reporting to evaluate campaign performance and identify actionable learnings
- Identify opportunities across the customer journey and translate insights into experiments, strategies, and measurable outcomes
- Communicate complex analytical results clearly to senior stakeholders, enabling timely and confident decision-making
- Promote strong analytics practices, including experimentation discipline, model governance, and continuous improvement
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to advance methods, tooling, and ways of working
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (for example, statistics, computer science, operations research, mathematics, or economics) or equivalent practical experience
- Two years of direct people leadership experience in an analytical function
- Six years of industry experience devising analytical solutions to business problems using large, complex datasets
- Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions and outcomes within a matrixed organization
- Proficiency in at least one analytical programming language (for example, Python, R, or SAS)
- Proficiency with databases and querying (for example, SQL and modern cloud data platforms)
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with a demonstrated focus on business applications
- Proven ability to synthesize results into recommendations and communicate effectively to partners and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in a quantitative discipline
- Experience in payments, lending, or credit card economics
- Experience applying generative artificial intelligence using application programming interfaces (APIs) and automation workflows to analytics use cases
