About The Role
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain & update IE standards (efficiency, HPU, capacity model, OEE) & systems.
- DL Efficiency and OEE monitoring.
- Assist IE engineer work.
- Work out capacity ramp plan together with teams and manage ramp progress.
- Optimize allocation of manufacturing resources and solve emergency capacity issues.
- Identify opportunities and lead capacity improvement.
- Assist IE engineer work
- Plan factory and production line layout
- Optimize factory layout and manufacturing flows to improve performance & space utilization.
- Coordinate layouts change implementation with related teams.
- Assist IE engineer work
- Monitor factory operations KPIs.
- Routine reports and report automation.
- Lead or support special projects as assigned by upper management
- Report projects and make recommendations to upper management.
Education & Experience
- Intermediate or College Graduate in Engineering or Science is required. A major in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field is preferred.
- 3 year or above IE/Lean manufacturing management experiences in multi-national company. Project management experience will be a plus.
Skills
- IE/Lean manufacturing experiences in manufacturing industry.
- AutoCAD, MS office software.
- Effective communication skills.

Working Conditions
- Works in standard office/manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to some of chemicals and machine oils.
- Ability to leadership team, innovation proactive thinking and readiness for change are essential demands at work.
Physical Requirements
- Requires the ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, with frequent standing and walking on the production floor. Must be able to conduct time studies, check equipment and layouts, and wear required PPE.
Safety Requirements
All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
