About The Role

Production Planning & Execution
Execute daily and weekly production plans in line with business requirements.
Monitor production activities to ensure production targets are achieved.
Allocate manpower, machines, and materials efficiently across production lines.
Monitor production schedules and adjust operations based on changing priorities or operational constraints.
Ensure timely completion of production orders while maintaining product quality.
Operational Excellence
Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and minimize waste.
Optimize machine utilization and labor productivity.
Ensure production KPIs are achieved and corrective actions are taken when necessary.
Quality & Food Safety Compliance
Ensure all production activities comply with GMP, HACCP, ISO, and company quality standards.
Work closely with the Quality team to resolve production-related quality issues.
Ensure proper implementation of food safety procedures across all production lines.
Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions when required.
Team Leadership & Workforce Management
Lead, supervise, and develop Production Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Operators.
Plan workforce allocation according to production priorities.
Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and feedback.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Identify training needs and support employee development.
Equipment & Maintenance Coordination
Ensure production equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Report equipment breakdowns and operational issues promptly.
Monitor equipment performance to reduce downtime.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
Monitor and report production KPIs, including output, efficiency, downtime, waste, and labor productivity.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Provide regular operational updates and recommendations to the Plant Manager.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Experience
5–7 years of experience in production within the food manufacturing industry.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or section head position.
Technical Knowledge
Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing operations.
Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and food safety standards.
Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement methodologies is an advantage.
