About The Role

  1. KEY RESPONSIBILITY
  • Develop and implement WeOne’s procurement strategy aligned with DP World governance and transformation priorities.
  • Lead category management across major spend areas to drive savings, improve service levels, and optimize total cost of ownership.
  • Oversee procurement operations, ensuring timely sourcing, purchase order execution, and contract adherence across all units supported by WeOne.
  • Implement supplier management frameworks, including performance metrics, SLAs, and ongoing vendor audits.
  • Drive procurement governance, ensuring full compliance with DP World policies, ESG requirements, audit controls, and ethical standards.
  • Lead procurement digitalization initiatives, including e-sourcing, automated workflows, analytics dashboards, and process standardization.
  • Identify and deliver annual cost savings, process efficiencies, and value‑added initiatives across the procurement lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, consolidate demand, and implement strategic sourcing plans.
  • Lead contract negotiations ensuring optimal terms, risk mitigation, and commercial advantage for DP World.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies, SOPs, and best practices to support continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the procurement team, fostering capability development, accountability, and performance culture.
  • Represent WeOne Procurement in internal committees, audits, compliance reviews, and strategic planning forums.
  • Oversee Central Stores operations including stock planning, replenishment, warehouse layout, and materials dispatch.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts, stock audits, and system accuracy controls.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehousing, storage, receiving, issuing, and safety compliance.
  • Optimize stores processes to reduce carrying costs, improve service levels, and ensure material readiness for supported business units.
