Service Engineer

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

• Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), including equipment assembly, wiring, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Support installation, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities at customer locations as required.
• Understand and fulfill service contract requirements to ensure successful project execution.
• Collaborate with customers and internal sales teams to identify, analyze, and resolve technical challenges.
• Develop and implement technical solutions, engaging global technical specialists when needed.
• Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support activities independently for Afag products and systems.
• Manage customer quality-related concerns and drive timely resolution through closure.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer sessions to customer personnel.
• Prepare accurate customer feedback, commissioning, and service reports.
• Build and maintain positive, long-term customer relationships through responsive and professional support.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement in all service activities.

For This Role, You Will Need

• Knowledge of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, motion control systems, machine vision systems, sensors, and related configuration activities.
• Strong commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to customer sites throughout China.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multicultural and global business environments.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart

• Experience supporting automation, manufacturing, robotics, assembly, or industrial equipment solutions.
• Familiarity with Afag products or similar automation technologies.
• Experience performing FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning, and field service activities.
• Experience delivering technical training to customers or end users.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience working within international or multinational organizations.
