Position Summary
The Senior Specialist, Online Marketing supports the operation, execution, and optimization of Samsung's online engagement initiatives, with a primary focus on Live Commerce (LVC) programs and Support on Samsung Members, strategic partnerships, Stars members management, and. This role is responsible for coordinating marketing initiatives that enhance customer engagement, increase platform value, and drive awareness, consideration, and conversion across Samsung's digital ecosystem.
The incumbent will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and data-driven marketing professional with strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills. They will coordinate Live Commerce activities to deliver a seamless customer experience and support partnership campaigns, manage the Samsung Stars ambassador program, support the end-to-end operation of Samsung Members benefits.
Working closely with Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, CRM, Retail, Digital Marketing, Legal, external agencies, and strategic partners, this role will ensure the successful execution of marketing programs while continuously identifying opportunities to improve customer engagement, operational efficiency, and overall program performance.
Role and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Live Commerce planning, operating and execution (55%)
- Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of Samsung Canada's Live Commerce (LVC) program to drive customer engagement, product awareness, and online sales.
- Develop and manage the Live Commerce calendar, ensuring alignment with product launches, seasonal campaigns, promotional periods, and business priorities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, CRM, Digital Marketing, Retail, e-Commerce, and external agencies to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop compelling Live Commerce concepts, promotional offers, customer incentives, and content strategies that maximize audience engagement and conversion.
- Manage the end-to-end production process with agency, including briefing creative agencies, coordinating production schedules, reviewing assets, and ensuring timely campaign delivery.
- Monitor campaign readiness by tracking deliverables, identifying risks, resolving operational issues, and ensuring all milestones are met prior to launch.
- Analyze Live Commerce performance using key metrics including viewership, engagement, conversion, sales performance, and customer behavior, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Prepare post-campaign performance reports and present insights, learnings, and optimization opportunities to internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify new opportunities to enhance the Live Commerce customer experience through innovative content formats, promotional strategies, customer interaction, and emerging digital trends.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal business teams, external agencies, platform partners, and vendors to ensure effective collaboration and operational excellence.
- Support the continuous improvement of Live Commerce processes by documenting best practices, developing operational guidelines, and implementing workflow efficiencies.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging Live Commerce best practices to recommend innovative ideas that strengthen Samsung Canada's digital commerce strategy.
- Working on internal approval process on legal, finance etc.
Samsung Members & Partner Benefits (35%)
- Assist in the execution of Samsung Members benefit programs, promotional campaigns, and seasonal initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and operational excellence.
- Coordinate with strategic partners to support the implementation of partnership offers, campaign assets, and promotional activities within the Samsung Members platform.
- Support the day-to-day management of Samsung Members partnerships, including campaign coordination, creative asset management, offer implementation, and performance tracking.
- Assist in managing the Samsung Stars ambassador program, including member communications, engagement activities, event coordination, and ongoing community support.
- Monitor campaign and program performance, prepare regular reports, and provide insights and recommendations to optimize member engagement and campaign effectiveness.
- Maintain campaign documentation, project timelines, and operational processes to ensure efficient program execution and cross-functional alignment.
Other campaign support (10%)
- Provide ad hoc support for Samsung review program as required including reporting, operational activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to assist with the execution of Review and Rating initiatives on an as needed basis.
- Support the preparation of performance report, data analysis etc.
Skills and Qualifications
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, content marketing, and customer engagement.
- Knowledge of Live Commerce, livestream production, or digital campaign execution is preferred.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, agencies, vendors, and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign results and provide actionable recommendations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other project management or collaboration tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, content marketing, campaign management, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating or executing integrated digital marketing campaigns from planning through post-campaign reporting.
- Experience managing livestream, video content, virtual events, or Live Commerce programs is considered a strong asset.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and deliver projects within established timelines.
- Experience using campaign performance data and analytics to support program optimization.
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $60,000 to $82,000 . Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience. This posting is for a current job vacancy.
