About The Role
Job Summary
We’re hiring experienced CNC Machinists to join a stable, growing manufacturing team. You’ll work in a state-of-the-art, exceptionally clean facility with a wide range of advanced CNC equipment, including multi-axis machining centers, mill-turn lathes, Swiss lathes, and 5-axis machines.
This role is focused on operating CNC equipment, maintaining production, inspecting your own parts, making offsets and tool changes, and ensuring consistent quality .
The facility offers exposure to equipment from Nakamura-Tome, Citizen, Mori Seiki/DMG Mori, Okuma, Matsuura, Haas, and other leading CNC platforms , creating plenty of opportunity to expand your skills over time.

Compensation
- $25 - $30 / hr (base)
- $33-35 / hr (total comp)
- 10% shift differential on 2nd
- Unlimited optional available

- 1st Shift
- 2nd Shift: 3:45 PM – 12:30 AM
- Monday - Friday

Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Equipment: Run CNC turning, milling, Swiss, and/or mill-turn equipment while maintaining safe and consistent production.
- Production Monitoring: Monitor machines throughout production runs, checking tooling, machine performance, cycle consistency, and finished-part quality.
- Part Inspection: Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other standard measuring equipment.
- Offsets & Adjustments: Make tool and wear offset adjustments as needed to maintain dimensions and keep parts within tolerance.
- Tool Changes: Identify worn or damaged tooling, replace tools as necessary, and verify the machine continues producing acceptable parts.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read blueprints, job travelers, and work instructions to understand dimensions, tolerances, and quality requirements.
- Troubleshooting: Recognize common machining or quality issues and make appropriate adjustments or escalate more complex problems to setup, programming, or engineering personnel.
- Production Documentation: Complete required inspection, production, and job documentation accurately.
- Machine Care: Perform routine machine checks and basic preventative maintenance while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Safety & Teamwork: Follow all safety and manufacturing procedures and work closely with setup machinists, programmers, quality, and production leadership.
Requirements
Required
- Experience: 3+ years of CNC machining or machine operation experience within turning, milling, Swiss, or mill-turn environments.
- Machine Operation: Comfortable operating CNC equipment, loading/unloading parts or material, starting cycles, monitoring machine performance, and keeping production moving.
- Quality: Able to inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other standard inspection equipment .
- Blueprints: Ability to read blueprints, understand dimensions and tolerances, and verify parts meet specifications.
- Offsets & Tooling: Comfortable making basic tool offset adjustments, replacing worn tooling, and responding to common machine or part-quality issues .
- Precision: Experience producing precision-machined components and maintaining consistent quality throughout a production run.
- Dependability: Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while supporting production goals and overtime needs.
Preferred
- Experience performing basic or complete CNC setups is a plus, but not required for every position.
- Experience with multi-axis, mill-turn, Swiss, or 5-axis equipment .
- Experience machining tight-tolerance or complex components.
- Experience working with exotic metals or other difficult-to-machine materials .
- Technical/trade school machining education is a plus.
