Job Description

Responsible for helping students learn and understand new concepts and complete assignments. Job Responsibilities

• Teaches academic subjects, such as English, Mathematics, Reading, and Foreign Languages, to Students requiring private instruction.
• Adapts curriculum to meet individual's needs.
• May teach all areas of elementary education to Students in special situations.
• May be in a small, isolated setting. May have more than one Student.
• May act as a consultant to Students in scattered situations.
• May teach in the Student's home.

Education & Experience

• Degree in education or in the subject matter being taught; Masters Degree preferred
• 2 years of experience teaching
• Teaching Certification may be required
