Devops Manager

Job Information Job Title: Manager, DevOps Job Purpose The Manager will lead our engineering teams in India. This critical leadership role is responsible for defining strategy and driving execution DevOps, DevSecOps, & MLOps functions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of building and managing high-performing teams, along with deep expertise in cloud-native technologies , automation, and infrastructure. This role requires a balance between technical depth and strategic vision , ensuring that cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, reliable, and compliant with U.S. healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and HITRUST , while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence. Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud engineering strategy aligned with business goals and U.S. healthcare compliance requirements. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and scale multiple high-impact teams including DevOps, DevSecOps, and MLOps. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. DevOps & CI/CD: Promote DevOps best practices and oversee the design and maintenance of robust, automated CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery. DevSecOps & Compliance: Integrate security across the development lifecycle and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations including HIPAA and HITRUST . MLOps: Build and manage an MLOps framework for the deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of machine learning models in production. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with U.S.-based leadership, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Cost & Resource Management: Manage cloud infrastructure budgets while optimizing resource utilization and maintaining high-performance standards. Operational Collaboration: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with developers, operations teams, SREs, and business stakeholders. Reporting Structure Does this position formally supervise employees? ✔ Yes Job Specifications Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field Years of Experience 12–14 years of relevant experience Skills and Capabilities Technical Skills 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps or related domains , with at least 5 years in a leadership role Proven experience managing India-based teams supporting global (U.S.) organizations Mandatory experience in the U.S. Healthcare domain , with strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance Strong expertise in cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, or GCP ) and tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible Experience implementing DevSecOps frameworks and security best practices Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) Proven experience in MLOps and managing ML lifecycle in production Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Other Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proactive approach to learning new technologies and industry trends Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to meet deadlines and deliver under pressure Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture
