Sales Consultant (Contract)

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about helping seniors find the right place to call home? Chartwell is looking for a Sales Consultant / Retirement Living Consultant to guide prospective residents and their families through a supportive and informative decision-making journey. In this key role, you’ll drive occupancy, build strong community relationships, and contribute to a warm and welcoming environment for residents.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the end-to-end sales process from inquiry to move-in, ensuring timely follow-up and high conversion rates
• Maintain accurate prospect records in Yardi CRM and use insights to guide sales priorities
• Build and nurture referral networks and community partnerships to generate leads
• Represent Chartwell at events to increase visibility and drive local engagement
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and welcoming resident experience
• Partner with Marketing on promotional events and materials
• Contribute to leadership meetings, strategic planning, and participate in Manager on Duty rotation

What You’ll Bring

• Proven sales ability with a consultative approach
• Experience in a senior living or service-focused environment is an asset
• Experience using CRM systems (Yardi preferred)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and meet timelines
• Customer-focused, empathetic, and professional in all interactions
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of the local community and surrounding area is a plus
• Valid Driver’s License, or reliable means of transportation
