Your role at Clorox
As a member of the Canadian Finance Team, you will provide dedicated financial planning and analysis (FP&A) support to the Customer Team, enabling informed business decisions and driving sustainable growth. This role will partner closely with key stakeholders to deliver forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis, while proactively identifying risks and opportunities to help achieve financial commitments.
In this role, you will
- Support the preparation of annual and quarterly business team forecasts, including variance analysis and management reporting, ensuring required inputs are accurately incorporated into financial forecasts within established timelines.
- Complete monthly analyses of business team actual performance versus forecast, identifying and investigating key drivers of variances.
- Support the preparation of analyses and evaluations of the financial impact of business proposals, including new product introductions, pricing actions, SKU rationalization, margin enhancement initiatives, promotions, and select customer customization opportunities, using established tools and processes.
- Prepare specialized financial analyses to support the business team's understanding of key P&L drivers, including trade and marketing spend, accrual rates, volume, mix, assortment, and cost savings initiatives

What we look for
Skills and Abilities
- Advanced Excel and strong financial modeling skills
- Working knowledge of Anaplan, SAP, S4/HANA an asset
- Highly motivated, energetic and team-oriented
- Organized, able to manage time/multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong financial analytical capabilities and forecast experience
- Ability to disseminate relevant data and challenge assumptions made by personnel
- Ability to think strategically and communicate on a cross-functional basis, balancing long-term strategic issues and short-term tactical issues
- Solid understanding of other functional areas (sales, marketing, product supply)
Education Level/Degree
- Bachelor's degree required. CPA designation or progress toward completion is considered an asset, or equivalent working experience.
