Meat Clerk

The Riverton COOP is seeking a MEAT/DELI CLERK. The potential candidate must be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude. Outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail are important traits that one must possess. Experience not necessary as training will be provided to a suitable applicant.

CASUAL EMPLOYMENT AS PER OPERATIONS that will include alternate weekends. Casual hours may lead to increased hours to part-time employment.

Duties

• Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members.
• Engaging with customers and offering product information, providing selling suggestions and always giving a genuine concern for their needs
• Focusing on providing fast & friendly customer service
• Must be dependable for all scheduled shifts
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean location
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision on occasion
• Prepare, wrap, slice and stock product as required
• Department maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing
• Other duties as assigned
