Temp-Teaching Artist-Apprentice

DescriptionTeaching and Choreography

At The Hiland Theater we are currently seeking teachers with experience and passion in working with children ages 6-12, versed in one or more of the following disciplines: ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, tap, and hip-hop; we are also seeking hip-hop and breaking teachers for older students as well.

Instructors prepare lesson plans for classes, and choreography for performances

General Artistic Duties

• Attends all enrichment workshops and staff meetings as needed
• Follows NDI New Mexico program curriculum set by program director
• Provides program director with required materials and information as needed
• Supports performances by working backstage
• Subbing classes when available
• Other duties as needed and mutually agreed upon
