About The Role
Preferred Partner Program Outreach SpecialistWe are seeking a Preferred Partner Program Outreach Specialist to own the outbound provider outreach lane for DM Clinical Research. This role is focused on identifying prospective physician practices, specialty clinics, and healthcare organizations, reaching the decision-makers inside them, generating interest in the Preferred Partner Program, and scheduling qualified introductory meetings for Preferred Partner Program leadership. The Preferred Partner Program Outreach Specialist builds the top of the partnership pipeline and hands each qualified opportunity to the central Preferred Partner Program team once interest is established.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct outbound calls to targeted healthcare organizations at the daily volume assigned to the position holder’s schedule.
- Reach physicians, practice owners, medical directors, practice managers, administrators, and other decision-makers.
- Navigate front-desk staff and gatekeepers professionally to identify the correct contact within each organization.
- Introduce DM Clinical Research and the Preferred Partner Program clearly and concisely using approved messaging.
- Generate sufficient interest to move qualified prospects into an introductory PPP meeting.
- Schedule introductory meetings with PPP leadership, holding 30 minutes where the prospect allows and 15 minutes as the working minimum.
- Confirm meeting details and decision-maker attendance ahead of each scheduled call.
- Brief PPP leadership with relevant organization background before each meeting.
- Build targeted lists of healthcare organizations by study, therapeutic area, market priority, and current enrollment need.
- Research practices using Apollo, LinkedIn, online business research, existing CRM data, and approved AI tools.
- Identify both physician and administrative decision-makers wherever possible.
- Source and verify business emails, direct and mobile numbers where appropriately available, titles, and specialties before outreach begins.
- Confirm that each organization and contact is legitimate and relevant to current priorities, prioritizing lead quality over list volume.
- Document every meaningful outreach attempt and conversation in GoHighLevel.
- Maintain accurate organization and contact records, pipeline stage, lead status, call notes, and next-action dates in GHL.
- Create and clear follow-up tasks in GHL before beginning new prospecting each day.
- Execute multi-channel follow-up across phone, email, SMS, and approved CRM campaigns on a consistent cadence.
- Maintain assigned market and organization ownership, and avoid contacting organizations owned by another Specialist.
- Work the assigned Central Time coverage window so that outreach lands inside each market’s local practice hours.
- Escalate contracting, payment, compliance, and study-specific questions to PPP leadership rather than answering directly.
- Escalate community events and community organization opportunities surfaced during outreach to the Community Outreach Coordinator without taking over that lane.
- Report weekly on calls completed, conversations held, meetings scheduled and attended, and pipeline movement.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or related fields preferred.
Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, including experience with inside sales, healthcare outreach, patient recruitment, business development, or provider relations.
Experience
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in outbound outreach, inside sales, business development, healthcare outreach, patient recruitment, or provider relations.
- Experience making a high volume of outbound calls to business or healthcare contacts required.
- Experience calling physician practices, clinics, or healthcare organizations preferred.
- Experience navigating gatekeepers to reach healthcare decision-makers strongly preferred.
- Clinical research, patient recruitment, or healthcare marketing experience preferred.
Credentials
- Inside sales, business development, CRM administration, or healthcare outreach training preferred but not required.
- Understanding of clinical research is helpful but not required. Training on PPP processes and systems is Provided.
Knowledge and Skills
- Confident, clear telephone presence with physicians, administrators, and clinical staff.
- Ability to sustain a high volume of outbound calls without losing call quality.
- Persistence on follow-up without becoming pressuring; understanding that no response is not the same as no interest.
- Ability to work from approved scripts and messaging while still sounding natural.
- Strong attention to detail in written documentation and CRM record-keeping.
- Ability to research an organization before contacting it and tailor the opening accordingly.
- Ability to distinguish provider partnership opportunities from patient recruitment and community event opportunities.
- Comfort hearing no and continuing to prospect.
- Ability to work independently against daily targets with limited supervision.
- Openness to coaching, role-play, and call review.
- Ability to plan a calling day across markets in different time zones without missing callable windows.
- Comfort working in a healthcare and compliance-sensitive environment.
