Talent Acquisition Team Lead - East Europe at DP World

About The Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Team Lead – East Europe to lead TA delivery across Romania, Türkiye, Serbia, Cyprus and the Balkans , while managing and developing a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition Specialists.

This is a hands-on player-coach role . You will lead a team of 4–6 TA professionals while personally managing a portfolio of roles and delivering end-to-end recruitment for business-critical talent.

What you’ll do

Lead, coach and develop a regional Talent Acquisition team, driving performance, capability and accountability.
Partner with senior business leaders, Hiring Managers and HR — including stakeholders up to C-level — to translate business needs into effective talent strategies.
Own end-to-end recruitment across your portfolio, from sourcing and assessment through to offer and hire.
Build talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles using innovative sourcing strategies and market intelligence.
Act as a trusted talent advisor, providing insight on talent availability, competitor activity, compensation and market trends.
Champion an exceptional, inclusive candidate and Hiring Manager experience.
Drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes, technology, Employer Branding, sourcing and inclusive hiring.
Collaborate with the wider European Talent Acquisition CoE to share best practice and shape the future of TA.

What you’ll bring

10–15 years’ Talent Acquisition experience in complex, fast-paced international organisations, including team leadership experience.
Strong hands-on recruitment expertise combined with proven people leadership capability.
Experience across Türkiye and Eastern/South-Eastern European talent markets .
A track record of building trusted relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.
Strong expertise in direct sourcing, talent pipelining and engaging passive talent.
A data-driven, commercially minded approach to recruitment and workforce needs.
Confidence with ATS platforms, recruitment technology and the responsible use of AI-enabled tools .
Strong understanding of recruitment compliance and inclusive hiring practices.
Fluent English and Turkish ; additional European languages are an advantage.
A collaborative, adaptable and solutions-focused mindset.
