Additional Information
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for the campus wide electrical power and distribution system. They manage electrical and electronics teams. Responsible for electrical plan review on all projects and will manage all electrical contractors working on AC Facilities Operations projects.
Required Education
Technical Certificate from two-year college program and Completion of Electrical Apprenticeship program

Required Work Experience
Related Field - 7 years with 5 years of leadership experience
Recommended Work Experience
Facilities - Related_Hospital related electrical experience Electrical controls experience
Required Certifications
Master Electrician - Arkansas Board of Electrical Examiners

Description
- Delegates and prioritizes work assignments for electrical staff and contractors.
- Schedules contractors for electrical procedures and maintains records on contracted man hours and submits proper requisition for time and materials. Schedules job tasks for assigned staff.
- Implements, manages, maintains, and follows the AC Electrical Safety Program. Has capability to obtain any required permits for a project.
- Demonstrates knowledge of locations of electrical distribution panels, branch circuit panels, emergency power panels, transfer switches, emergency generators, etc.
- Recruits, interviews, hires and evaluates qualified staff, managing performance by assessing competency on an ongoing basis and during annual performance appraisals.
- Participates in fire and disaster plan as outlined in the Emergency Procedures Manual and assures job sites are clean and safe and that all AC Personnel and contractors follow safe work practices.
- Develops and maintains staffing plans based on volumes, anticipated workload, skill mix and competency requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
