As a Specialist, Human Resources - Canada you will work closely with our retail teams and HR leadership to support the day-to-day needs of the business while helping bring key people programs to life across the market. This is a hands-on, action-oriented role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through strong execution, thoughtful problem solving and a seamless employee experience. You will help drive core HR processes and initiatives, support employee engagement, and bring our culture to life while modeling our core belief, People Make the Difference, and our values: Be Creative & Innovative, Deliver Excellence, and Cultivate an Entrepreneurial Spirit.

Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for the employee population, addressing benefits, policies, leaves, and other HR inquiries.
  • Lead the execution of employee engagement and DEIB initiatives across the market, bringing forward ideas and recommendations that support business and people priorities.
  • Oversee benefits, leaves, and disability administration, ensuring accurate tracking, timely follow-up and proactive communication with key stakeholders.
  • Participate in Health & Safety meetings and submit workers’ compensation claims.
  • Partner with HR and retail leadership to support seamless return-to-work and employee reintegration plans following leaves of absence.
  • Partner with Payroll on pay exceptions and support the resolution of escalated payroll issues.
  • Maintain headcount records, organizational charts and HR trackers. Analyze key HR metrics, including staffing, retention, turnover, exit interviews, and other information necessary and provide insights for talent discussions.
  • Facilitate onboarding activities for retail leadership and corporate roles.
  • Support internal people communications, ensuring alignment with Canada and North America standards and messaging.
  • Develop HR tools and resources to support leaders and improve department effectiveness.
  • Provide general HR administration, including invoice processing, project support and departmental initiatives.

Talent Acquisition

  • Full-cycle recruitment for retail positions across Canada, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, offer presentation and providing a positive candidate experience.
  • Support Talent Acquisition activities including scheduling interviews, coordinating offer presentation, and managing candidate communications.
  • Lead or support Talent Acquisition special projects including career fairs, hiring events, and seasonal recruitment
  • Own key recruitment administration, including maintaining the Recruitment Activity Tracker and overseeing the Tiffany Referral Program.

Experience

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the luxury retail sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to partner with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on experience with Canadian payroll, benefits administration, workplace accommodations, and disability case management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret HR data
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
  • Curiosity, accountability and resilience, with an exceptional drive and motivation to learn, deliver high-quality work and grow from feedback
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and accountability for deliverables
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and expertise with Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desired

  • A college/university degree.
  • Proven experience executing employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, recruitment, leave management, performance management, and offboarding)
  • Experience working effectively in a matrixed organization, collaborating across HR COEs, regional teams and global partners.
  • CPHR, CHRP or CHRL designation
  • Fluent in French language

The hiring range for this position ranges from $79,800 and $90,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
