About The Role

Join Astranis, a satellite technology company, as a Harness Manufacturing Associate. This twelve-week, salaried position is designed for recent graduates and offers hands-on experience in a production environment, manufacturing documentation, quality systems, and process optimization. Responsibilities include supporting manufacturing engineers, assisting with wire harness and cable assembly builds, participating in quality inspections, and analyzing manufacturing issues.   • Support the design, build, and continuous improvement of wire harness and cable assembly processes.
  • Assist with wire harness and cable assembly builds, including cutting, stripping, crimping, labeling, and lacing.
  • Participate in quality inspections and help analyze manufacturing issues such as defects, rework, and throughput constraints.
  • Currently hold a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
  • A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
  • Familiarity with spacecraft systems and operation
  • Must be onsite 5 days a week
  • Direct electrical or mechanical design experience
  • Experience working a laboratory or industrial environment
  • Experience in CAD
  • Hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing any type or hardware
  • Bonus
