About The Role

Join Edgard & Cooper, a pet food brand that prioritizes the well-being of pets and their owners. As the Head of Sales for the UK and Ireland, you will drive commercial growth, lead a high-performing sales team, and build strong partnerships with key grocery retailers. You will also work closely with the Marketing Manager to execute a unified strategy. Enjoy benefits such as unlimited pet food, a gym membership, and the flexibility to work from anywhere.

  • Deliver and execute the UKIE commercial strategy in line with company ambitions, setting priorities and allocating resources to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the UK sales team, building a high-performing team with clear objectives and ongoing development.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and build long-term partnerships with key grocery retailers, executing Joint Business Plans.
  • And because no two people bring exactly the same things to the Pack, we’re always interested in the extra skills, quirks and talents that make you, well, you. (Useful magic tricks count too. Probably.)
  • A degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related field, plus at least 6 years’ experience in sales or commercial roles, preferably within FMCG
  • A strong background in key account management with national retailers, including leading key Joint Business Plan negotiations
  • Experience in a fast-growing or challenger FMCG brand is a plus
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience working in cross-functional, international environments
  • Solid commercial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting and P&L management, with a data-driven mindset and the ability to turn insights into action
  • Proven experience leading and developing sales teams
  • Fluency in English
