Event Set Up Attendant

Starting Rate: $21.27 per hour We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $27.48 This position is starting as soon as possible, it is a seasonal position that will be an 8th month contract. Job Duties Include: Reporting to the Event Set Up Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Maintain the cleanliness of banquet rooms, hallways, storage and service areas Lift and store tables, chairs and staging efficiently and safely Set-up, maintain and break down banquet meeting rooms Follow directions from banquet event orders for assigned banquet meetings Report needed repairs of unsafe equipment and or conditions

Your Skills & Qualifications: Previous guest service experience preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Highly responsible & reliable Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and under pressure Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License Updated Driver’s Abstract
