  • Analyze organizational information processes and translate business requirements into structured system configurations within approved IM governance frameworks. Support the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of Information Management solutions across PLM and collaborative environments.
  • Implement and maintain information structures, taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, and metadata standards to ensure consistency and traceability across the enterprise.
  • Monitor compliance with Information Management policies, standards, and procedures, and identify gaps requiring corrective or preventive action.
  • Support audit readiness activities by validating information controls, access structures, and retention mechanisms against regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure information lifecycle requirements are embedded into operational workflows.
  • Contribute to the development of process documentation, work instructions, and training materials to support effective adoption of IM practices.
  • Track and maintain documented stakeholder requirements, perform ongoing gap analyses against governance requirements, and manage exceptions through designated resolution pathways to ensure compliance issues have clear ownership, timelines, and formal closure.
  • Analyze organizational information processes and translate business requirements into structured system configurations within approved IM governance frameworks. Support the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of Information Management solutions across PLM and collaborative environments.
  • Diploma in related discipline (e.g. Business, Communications, Information Systems, Information Technology).
  • Records and Information Management, Information Governance, or Data Protection Professional certification an asset.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a government facing or regulated industry role.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, shipbuilding or heavy industry preferred.
  • Experience working within a cross functional project with various levels of digital literacy.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders, develop statement of work and requirements, and handle change management.

Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
