The Instructional Designer plays an important part in the education of our customers and the implementation of an extraordinary customer education program. In this role, the individual will be responsible for
- Acquiring comprehensive technical knowledge of Honeywell Life Sciences’ solutions and leveraging their knowledge of adult learning principles to create and maintain engaging learning experiences.
- Design, develop, and evaluate learning content to support multiple delivery types—including instructor-led (classroom and virtual), eLearning, self-paced, blended and accreditation.
- Leverage effective internal communication skills, including ability to lead presentations and coach training facilitators.
- Proactively manage documentation regarding Honeywell Life Sciences products and third-party tools to be leveraged for customer-facing and internal enablement.
- 10% travel may be required
YOU MUST HAVE
- 3+ years of instructional design experience utilizing the ADDIE model or other established models of instructional design.
- 3+ years of experience in content development such as virtual instructor-led (vILT) and web-based eLearning
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in software training development including hands-on lab environments and experience with eLearning authoring tools and multimedia tools. Preferably Articulate 360 and TechSmith tools
- Experience with team collaboration and managing multiple projects/programs simultaneously
- Experience working with Salesforce and/or Amazon Web Services
- Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- Good understanding of Quality and Manufacturing Systems in Life Sciences, Medical Device, or Consumer Products sectors
- Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks in meeting deadlines and deliverables.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Word, SharePoint, Visio, Project, PowerPoint
