About The Role

Project Manager (Structural)

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from a recognized institution.
  • A Master's Degree in Structural Engineering will be an added advantage.
  • Professional certification or membership of relevant engineering bodies will be preferred.

Experience

  • 8–12 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, construction, and project management.
  • Experience in handling large-scale RCC and structural steel projects will be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction practices.
  • Good understanding of RCC structures, structural steel, foundations, concrete technology, reinforcement detailing, formwork, and structural construction methodologies .
  • Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, civil, and MEP drawings.
  • Knowledge of relevant structural design codes, building codes, and construction standards.
  • Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, estimation, BOQ preparation, tendering, procurement, and contract management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with structural engineering/design software will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of structural testing, quality-control procedures, inspection, and construction safety requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor structural works for new construction, renovation, redevelopment, and infrastructure projects.
  • Review structural designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, BOQs, tender documents, and technical submissions prepared by structural consultants and contractors.
  • Coordinate with structural consultants, architects, civil contractors, MEP consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure proper integration of structural and architectural requirements.
  • Review structural drawings including foundation, column, beam, slab, staircase, retaining wall, structural steel, and other structural details, as applicable.
  • Monitor structural construction activities at project sites and ensure execution is as per approved drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, material quality, construction methodology, and compliance with approved structural designs.
  • Review and monitor activities such as excavation, foundation works, reinforcement, shuttering/formwork, concreting, masonry, structural steel works, waterproofing interfaces, and other related works.
