Job Overview

The Assistant, Brand Strategy will play a crucial role in the success of Macy’s campaigns and communications efforts. In this exciting role, you'll play a part in shaping Macy's brand story. You'll support the Brand Strategy team by assisting with the development and execution of winning marketing campaigns. You'll learn from industry experts and contribute to building a strong brand identity for Macy's.

What You Will Do

• Assist in the Brand Strategy team in developing campaign materials, including gathering necessary information and supporting the creation of marketing plans:
• Gather and organize relevant data to support campaign analysis
• Collaborate with partners to ensure timely delivery of all data need to inform creative briefs including customer insights and trend and fashion forecasts
• Contribute to postmortem process to capture key successes and opportunities for future campaigns
• Help to manage internal schedules and meetings to ensure projects are on time
• Build strong relationships with external agency partners, ensuring smooth collaboration and delivering great results.
• Help foster a positive and collaborative environment where all teams work together effectively.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You Will Need

• 1-2 years of experience in marketing or a related field (or relevant internship experience).
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior and a passion for building brand messaging and strategies.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional development.
