About The Role
The Senior Art Director will partner closely with the Creative Director to shape and evolve the creative vision for the Hollister brand across e-commerce and digital marketing channels. This leader will drive compelling, customer-centric visual storytelling that strengthens brand relevance, inspires our audience, and delivers against business objectives.
This role is responsible for leading the creative development and execution of e-commerce content, setting a clear visual point of view, and guiding cross-functional teams through concepting, production, and delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts with operational excellence, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about fashion, culture, and the Hollister customer.
This position is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Partner with the Creative Director to define and execute the seasonal visual direction for Hollister's e-commerce and digital content.
- Lead art direction across all e-commerce photography, ensuring a consistent, elevated brand aesthetic that connects with our customer and drives engagement.
- Develop and present creative concepts, seasonal style guides, and visual storytelling frameworks that support brand and business goals.
- Art direct on-set productions, including casting, styling partnership, lighting, set design, image selection, and post-production direction.
- Lead the concept development, creative execution, and final image selection for elevated Trend Drop storytelling and supporting third-party content, ensuring all assets reflect Hollister's brand vision and creative standards.
- Oversee daily e-commerce imagery and content execution, maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Production, Design, and Strategy to deliver integrated customer experiences across channels.
- Identify emerging trends in fashion, media, culture, and content creation, translating insights into innovative creative solutions.
- Mentor and elevate a team of creatives by providing clear direction, feedback, and developmental support.
- Champion creative excellence while balancing speed, efficiency, and business priorities.
- Drive continuous evolution of Hollister's visual identity, ensuring the brand remains relevant, distinctive, and culturally connected.
- Contribute to building a best-in-class creative organization that supports a content-led, customer-first marketing strategy.
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Bachelor's degree or similar work experience.
- 8+ years of art direction experience within fashion, retail, consumer brands, or related creative environments.
- Proven experience leading large-scale photography productions and e-commerce content creation.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional art direction, visual storytelling, and brand-building capabilities.
- Deep understanding of photography, composition, styling, color, retouching, and creative production processes.
- Experience partnering with and influencing cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
- Passion for trend, youth culture, fashion, and consumer behavior.
- Experience mentoring creative talent and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving, deadline-driven setting.
