About The Role
- Effectively develop and support a caseload of clients focusing on those that are eligible for the targeted support programmes, by means of using diagnostic tools, and the use of specialist support when required.
- Prioritise activity and agree an action plan with the client to support the development of their employment/enterprising journey including help with funding applications by referring to appropriate financial support agencies.
- Accurately identify client support and development needs, identifying support required to improve their capacity to become enterprising employees or to develop an enterprising idea and if need be liaise with other providers such as those delivered by HCAL.
- Proactively identify and engage with young people with the Young Peoples Employment Hub Champion via a range of engagement activities who might be interested in employment and entrepreneurship, which will involve them dealing with confidential information on a regular basis.
- Develop and deliver, with the aid of relevant partners, employment and enterprise skills programmes relating to the Big 13 Enterprise skills to enable the individual to become a more enterprising person.
- Attend and present at relevant meetings, networking and events to promote the programme and provide support to companies attending. Assisting in the delivery of workshops including online, individual and group training sessions and where appropriate advise clients on the programme’s aims and objectives.
- Record client activities in a timely and accurate manner using appropriate systems and advise clients on budgets.
- Ensure that monitoring systems are kept up to date in order that management reports that are provided to a variety of audiences including HCC and JC+ (programme funder) are accurate.
