About The Role

Basic Purpose of the Role

The APAC AR & Revenue Accounting SA is responsible for supporting Accounts Receivable and Revenue Accounting activities across APAC entities, ensuring accurate accounting, timely cash application, account reconciliation, reserve analysis, revenue adjustments, and compliance with internal control requirements. The role also supports process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations

Cash Application & Receivable Management

  • Apply incoming client payments accurately and timely.
  • Investigate unidentified and unapplied cash.
  • Monitor aged receivable balances and follow up with business stakeholders.
  • Support client refund and overpayment processes.
  • Process manual journal entries related to AR activities.

Revenue & Accounting Support

  • Monitor GL activities to ensure accounting accuracy.
  • Support revenue adjustments and correction entries.
  • Perform daily variance analysis and exception management.
  • Assist with client concessions and revenue reversals.

Month-End Close Activities

  • Prepare and review month-end journal entries.
  • Complete account reconciliations and certifications.
  • Perform reserve calculations and analysis.
  • Support APAC month-end and quarter-end close requirements.
  • Ensure timely completion of all assigned deliverables.

Controls & Compliance

  • Perform SOX and operational controls.
  • Maintain supporting documentation and audit evidence.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Perform user access review and certification activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and control standards.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with APAC Finance, Business Units, Client Service Teams and Global Accounting Operations.
  • Act as a key contact for AR and Revenue inquiries.
  • Communicate findings, issues and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support recurring governance and operational meetings.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to improve AR and Revenue processes.
  • Support automation initiatives using Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Alteryx or similar tools.
  • Assist in SOP maintenance, process mapping and documentation.
  • Lead standardization and efficiency improvement projects.
  • Support system migration, UAT testing and implementation activities.

  • Advanced Excel skills including:
  • Pivot Tables
  • Lookup Functions
  • Data Analysis
  • Workbook Management
  • Experience with ERP and financial systems preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across APAC teams 。

Preferred Experience

  • 3 + years experience in:
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Revenue Accounting
  • Record-to-Report (R2R)
  • Shared Service Finance Operations
  • Experience supporting APAC markets.
  • Experience with process transformation and automation projects.
  • Exposure to SOX and internal control environments.
