Restaurant Manager

Xara Collection is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and uphold our high standards of service excellence.

TheRole

As Restaurant Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service, outstanding guest experiences, and strong team performance. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality while supporting the commercial success of the restaurant, including private events and functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
• Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team
• Promote sale s through menu knowledge, upselling and beverage pairing
• Manage reservations, table allocation, and service flow
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally
• Coordinate and oversee private events, functions, and special occasions
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and allergen regulations
• Monitor financial performance, staffing levels, and operational costs
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery
• 3–5 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within a high-end or fine dining environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and strong organisational skills with the ability to manage busy service periods and changing operational priorities
• In-depth knowledge of food & beverage operations and guest service
• Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management (ITS Diploma or equivalent preferred)
• Valid Food Handler Licence (as per Maltese regulations)
