The Role
As a Warehouse & Logistics Specialist (m/f/d), you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our manufacturing site. From receiving and correctly storing goods to supplying Production, picking orders and preparing shipments, you will help ensure materials and equipment are available in the right place at the right time.
You will work within a technically advanced manufacturing environment where your accuracy, reliability and hands-on approach will directly contribute to efficient production and delivery processes.
What you will be doing
- Process incoming goods and outgoing shipments.
- Package materials and equipment for shipment in accordance with defined packaging requirements.
- Ensure materials are stored correctly and complete the required warehouse transactions and bookings.
- Ensure Production receives the required materials reliably and on time.
- Pick and prepare parts and materials for production and shipment.
- Carry out regular stock and inventory checks.
- Support an efficient flow of materials throughout the manufacturing environment.
- Follow relevant safety, quality and operational procedures.
About You
You are a reliable, flexible and hands-on individual who enjoys working within logistics and can remain organised in a busy manufacturing environment.
Ideally, you will bring
- Completed vocational training as a Warehouse Specialist, Warehouse & Logistics Specialist or a comparable qualification.
- Previous practical experience within warehouse and/or shipping operations would be advantageous.
- An understanding of logistics processes within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of Kanban and First In, First Out (FIFO) principles.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office.
- Valid Air Cargo Security Training in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 300/2008 and No. 11.2.3.9, together with a valid security background check.
- A flexible, reliable and resilient approach to work.
- Willingness to work shifts and undertake cleanroom activities.
