Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) Subject Matter Expert (SME ) - SAP
Role Summary
The Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) SME provides functional expertise and business process knowledge for the ANZ SAP S/4 implementation. Working with the Stream Lead, project team, and business stakeholders, the role supports end-to-end process and system design, documents and validates business requirements, and contributes to readiness, testing, and adoption across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) domain SME input across design, build, and deployment.
- Document and validate current-state processes and business requirements (including pain points/opportunities).
- Support future-state process and solution design aligned to SAP S/4 and business needs.
- Participate in workshops/design discussions; review and validate proposed process/system changes.
- Support issue and risk management within the stream (process, data, solution), including escalation where required .
- Contribute to testing (scenario input, execution support, defect triage, outcome validation).
- Support change and readiness activities (process documentation, training inputs, communications, adoption support).
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and provide regular updates to the Stream Lead.
- Work in line with Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, Ethics, and Human Resources policies and uphold Kraft Heinz values.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in process improvement and/or project, transformation, or system-related initiatives.
- Able to document requirements and processes and translate business needs into practical solutions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience supporting workshops and delivery activities (e.g., testing, training, implementation).
- Comfortable working in a changing environment with competing priorities.
- SAP/ERP or large-scale system implementation experience is advantageous .
- Strong Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) functional knowledge; effective communicator and collaborator in a matrix environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage priorities and timelines.
- Ability to travel on a routine basis.
