What you'll do
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate transfer of data into the new Commercial Platform (SAP) by focusing on reconciling data between existing systems and SAP to achieve 100% data transfer accuracy. You will conduct daily reconciliations of sales data, investigate any discrepancies to ensure the robustness of sales data in SAP, and collaborate with SI partners to develop and enhance the reconciliation process.
Additionally, you will establish and enhance controls, address any identified gaps, and ensure the completeness and accuracy of historic data loads as additional categories are migrated into SAP. Your strong reconciliation skills, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication with stakeholders of varying financial and technical backgrounds will be crucial to the success of this role.
Who you are
You are a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in ensuring data accuracy and integrity, particularly in the transfer of data to SAP within a complex commercial environment. Your strong reconciliation skills, ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies, and proficiency in Excel for data manipulation make you adept at analysing and clarifying sales data to drive informed decision-making. With effective communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a self-motivated team player mindset, you excel in collaborating with stakeholders of varying backgrounds and driving process improvements to enhance data controls and accuracy.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrable experience of performing complex reconciliations, including identifying, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Proven ability to analyse large volumes of data using Excel, including data manipulation, interrogation and validation
- Evidence of communicating financial information clearly in both written and verbal formats, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven capability to influence, challenge and engage stakeholders with varying levels of financial and technical knowledge
- Demonstrable ability to identify issues, evaluate solutions and work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
