Due to a strong forward workload, and ongoing market demand, w e’re seeking an accomplished client-focused and enthusiastic Senior Project Manager/ Team Leader to join our Victorian and Tasmanian region, located in either our Hobart or Launceston offices.

It is particularly rewarding, with an additional people leadership component, offering the opportunity to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects, build trusted client relationships and support the capability, performance and engagement of a talented team. Your role will include but not be limited to

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects, achieving safety, quality, scope, program and client outcomes.
  • Manage project commercial performance, governance and controls, including budgets, forecasts, contracts, schedules, cost, risk and document management.
  • Build trusted client and stakeholder relationships, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to bids, proposals and repeat work.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across regions, providing clear direction, reporting and timely resolution of project issues.
  • Support resource and pipeline planning while coaching team members and fostering an inclusive, high-performing environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement through effective business and digital systems, knowledge sharing and consistent project management practices.

What would you bring to the team?

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and significant experience delivering complex projects in engineering consulting, infrastructure, construction or a related environment.
  • A strong track record in project or design management across multidisciplinary, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Sound commercial acumen and experience managing project financials, governance, contracts, risk and opportunities.
  • A client-centred approach, with highly developed communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills and the ability to support business development.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring or leading others, with a commitment to performance, inclusion and career development.
  • Construction and subcontractor management experience is desirable, or a willingness to develop these capabilities; professional project management accreditation will also be highly regarded.
