This isn’t an HR role where you sit on the sidelines. You’ll beout in the business, in our stores, alongside our leaders and connected to our teams, translating business priorities into thoughtful people strategies that help individuals and teams perform at their best.

You’ll be the key P&C partner to our Retail leadership team across ANZ building trusted relationships, coaching leaders, navigating complexity and helping us create high-performing, values-led teams.

What you'll do

As a trusted partner to our Retail leaders, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the full employee experience, including:

  • Partner with our Retail leadership team across ANZ to develop and deliver people strategies that support business performance and growth.
  • Build strong, authentic relationships across our stores and wider business, becoming a trusted and credible P&C partner.
  • Coach and challenge leaders on people priorities including performance, talent, succession, recognition, development, workforce planning and organisational design.
  • Lead employee relations matters with sound judgement, balancing commercial outcomes with doing what’s right for our people.
  • Provide expert advice across employment legislation, Fair Work requirements and relevant retail awards.
  • Champion our key P&C programs across Retail, including performance reviews, employee engagement and talent reviews.
  • Use people data and business insights to identify trends, opportunities and risks and turn those insights into practical recommendations.
  • Listen to our retail teams and use their feedback to continuously improve our policies, programs and overall employee experience.
  • Identify capability, resourcing and organisational gaps and work with leaders to develop solutions.
  • Champion personal development and help our people understand the tools, opportunities and pathways available to them.
  • Get out into our stores and markets, partnering with cross-functional teams and bringing P&C insights, trends and opportunities to life.
  • Maintain strong HRIS data and processes that support accurate reporting, compliance and informed people decisions.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within retail, hospitality or another fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect people priorities to business outcomes.
  • Confidence navigating complex stakeholder relationships and influencing at all levels.
  • A genuine coaching mindset; you know when to support, when to challenge and when to ask the right question.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and experience navigating Australian employment legislation and the Fair Work framework.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with an ability to use data to identify trends and inform decisions.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a constantly evolving environment.
  • The ability to operate autonomously while knowing when collaboration is needed.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, change and building solutions where there isn’t always a playbook.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo in pursuit of better.
  • A passion for personal development, both your own and the people around you.
  • A love of getting outside and living the experiences our brand exists to enable.
