About The Role

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on lead design role at a fast-growing AI communication platform serving SMEs across Europe. You will own product design, branding, and design-team leadership end to end, working directly alongside founders and engineering to ship daily and set the visual and product design standard across three core product areas.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own product design, branding, and design-team direction across the full product portfolio.
  • Drive hands-on product design work including Figma files, prototypes, and regular customer interviews (roughly 50% of your time).
  • Lead and coordinate the design team covering website, branding, and product design (roughly 50% of your time).
  • Take ownership of three product areas in close collaboration with product and engineering counterparts.
  • Build deep customer understanding through ongoing conversations with target users such as tradespeople, medical practices, and professional service firms.
  • Build, scale, and maintain design systems for consistent delivery across multiple product areas.
  • Set and uphold the design standard across product, web, and brand in a high-tempo shipping environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least five years of end-to-end product design experience with clear ownership across multiple product areas.
  • Proficiency in Figma, prototyping, and structured user research and interviews.
  • Experience building and scaling design systems in a B2B SaaS or similar environment.
  • Design-team leadership experience, or a strong and demonstrated readiness to step into team responsibility while staying hands-on as an individual contributor.
  • Branding and website design ownership alongside product design, with an analytics-driven approach to design decisions.
  • Comfort using modern AI tools such as Cursor, v0, or Claude to accelerate and improve design workflows.
  • Native-level German for working with DACH-market customers, plus solid professional English for an international team.
  • A product and data mindset: you measure the impact of design decisions and iterate accordingly.
